About Marko  Polo  Camps

At Marko Polo Camps, we offer children ages 13 and up (12 and under with a parent/guardian) a structured opportunity for growth. Our enriched program is designed for players to improve their water polo skills, gain exposure to international styles of playing the game, and broaden their perspective and awareness of themselves, their culture, and the world. Participants will gain independence and self-confidence while training for tournaments including the Junior Olympics held at the end of July in Dallas, Texas.

The camp is LIMITED to 30 participants and the spots are filling fast.

The facility has two pools: one is an outdoor 50m pool and the other is an indoor Water Polo pool that can be used if the weather is not in our favor. The pools are located just 200m away from the hotel in which we will be staying.

Why practice water polo in Serbia?

Marko Polo Camps are held in the country that is a true leader when it comes to water polo skills. Currently Serbia Men's National team is a three time gold medalist in the Olympics(Rio 16' Tokyo 20' and Paris 24') and has the best water polo player and coach in the world. Serbia is well known for its water polo winning streak and has won gold medals in all major competitions: Olympics, Fina World Championship and LEN European Championship. They are Serbia's most successful national team, having won more titles than all other Serbian national teams combined. In 2016, they became the first team to hold titles in all five existing major championships: European Championship, World Championship, World Cup, World League and Olympic Games simultaneously. Majority of water polo players come from Serbia due to the fact that they train in a specific style.

The of Men's USA Water Polo Team Head Coach Dejan Udovicic, comes from Serbia.
